Beautiful lovely Florence, oh what a CITY! This amazing village is filled with windy streets + beautiful details. If you have never been to Florence, I promise that you will not be disappointed adding it to your bucket list. This city screams romance!

I had such a lovely time with my friend Marissa roaming the city streets + it was simply delightful! I wanted to share a few of my top highlights from this amazing trip. In case you do visit Florence, here are my top MUST DO’s:

Have dinner at Ciro & Sons This restaurant is magical. It is owned by 3 sons of the man who started it AND it specializes in Gluten Free. I know , I know, this may seem like blasphemy for Italy, but celiac is real my friends + I happen to have a wheat intolerance [gasp]. Regardless, this place was delicious + the people were superb!

Take a Wine Tour in Tuscany– If you are in Florence, you absolutely, 110% MUST make your way out to the gorgeous green wine hills of Tuscany. I was able to go on the most educational, beautiful tour with Italy & Wine tour. I must admit, our tour guide Hilary was by far the BEST. She was energetic, funny, educational + so beyond accommodating. The tour would not have been the same without Hilary. You must request her if you go on this tour! Without a doubt, this entire day in Tuscany was one of the best days of my life!

Consume GELATO, a lot of gelato- You will do so much walking in Florence that you absolutely must consume as much sugary goodness as possible. EAT EAT EAT, + simply take in the beauty of the city [guilt-free, you’re in Italy after all!]

Eat at Zaza Zaza is apparently filled with truffles. I have never personally eaten there but have heard incredible things about the buttery, delicious menu. This is a must try!

Visit Luisa Via Roma – This incredible luxury boutique is simply gorgeous to look at + has a very quirky, fun, interesting combination of fashion!

See the leather market- While I am personally not a fan of tourist traps, Florence does specialize in some of the BEST leather in Italy. You have to take a look at the leather market, or at least wander into some stores that offer amazing made in Florence leather!

Ride a Vespa– If there is one thing I know about Florence it is that it is a walking city. You either walk or ride a little vespa on the windy little streets. There are quite literally vespas on every corner! So why not act like a local + get your very own Vespa rental?

Visit the Ufizzi The Ufizzi Gallery is one of my favorite museums in Italy. It is right in the center + honestly is just gorgeous inside.

See the Ponte Vecchio [day + night]– This bridge is spectacular, + is something you absolutely must see! Take a photo during the day + walk across. Then visit again at night for some beautiful scenery!

Hike to the Piazzale Michelangelo– This gorgeous viewpoint offers breath taking views of the entire city of Florence. The hike is worth it, + hey you can have a huge bowl of delicious pasta afterwards to reward yourself for all the walking!

Sit on the steps of the Duomo– The gorgeous multicolored Duomo in Florence is one of my favorite churches in Italy. It is break taking + honestly a bit mignon with all the fun colors!

There are countless other fun things to do in Florence, but my biggest advice would be to just wander the streets + have a grand time just exploring. It is the little things that make this city so magical, so enjoy every step!

Instead of starting this post with Bonjour lovelies, I must start with CIAO Bellas! I just LOVE Italy, + recently I got the chance to spend a few extra days in some pretty cities during my work trip to Milano. I cannot wait to share some of my outfits from this trip, there was just so much beauty to take in! First stop was Firenze, the beautiful city of Florence. This city has something so romantic about it.. the little streets with people riding bikes and vespas. Florence is really is a walking city more than anything + I simply loved it. Also, the gorgeous colorful Duomo at the center of the city is so striking, + honestly oh-so mignon!

I chose to wear a flirty + feminine lace dress for my first night in Florence. This incredible dress I found at Chicwish, which is my new obsession. I absolutely LOVE this store + everything it has to offer. This off the shoulder dress was perfect in lace as it added a bit of flintiness but also was quite feminine with the lace… + who doesn’t love to feel girly? I felt crazy romantical roaming the streets of Florence in this pretty number!

Stay tuned for even more photos to come from my Italian adventures!

Varsity nights! I couldn’t help but dress a little sporty chic on my visit to LA. In my opinion, LA just screams sporty cool all over town. Everyone looks so effortlessly cool + chic. This season, I was inspired by the likes of the Public School 2015 Runway show. This amazing varsity sweater vest was a great find at Banana Republic + totally fits the varsity theme of this season. It is super sporty, + also has some cool cutout details on the side- I LOVE! You can really dress this top up or down, but for a cool night on the town, I decided to add a little fancy flare.

Bonjour my dears! Recently I spent 10 full days in sunny California. OH my oh my was it ever a sunshine-y dream come true! This was by far one of the most relaxing, wonderful trips I have ever experienced. 10 full days of no exact plans + just time to relax, wander, + enjoy all the lovely beautiful things Cali has to offer! With that said… I have sunshine on my mind + wanted to share some of my favorite snaps from my 10 day trip.

A day well spent in Laguna Beach soaking in the california beauty + sun! This KAS New York colorful beaded dress was the perfect reflection of the bright + beautiful scenery in Southern Cali.

Beep! Coming through with our red hot beetle. Just buggin’ around town in the cutest car ever. Oh, and every great little car needs a great pair of sunnies, like my favorite Thierry Lasry frames!

Beach + macaroon = bliss. Not to mention, these Adidas came everywhere with me on this trip!

After a few days in the sun it was all about the beach hair, red lips [fav now is REVLON] + coffee!

All set + red-y for a night on the town in Santa Monica. Yes I may have been a bit fancy, but a girl always feels her finest in her best. Red pumps for the win!

BUT FIRST, COFFEE + a stop at Alfred’s Coffee shop on Melrose place. Also, I deduced to really blend into Cali culture + got some extra blonde in my hair. Thank you Eric + Karin at Frederic Fekkai on Melrose! xx

To be active as all Californians are, I rode bikes from Santa Monica to Venice beach! It was glorious. Wind in my hair, sea salt in the air.. I was happy as a bird! Also, if you haven’t been to Abbot Kinney in Venice it is the most adorable street. From Toms to Gjelina + so many adorable boutiques, I was in LOVE.

Sunset scenes + wine on the beach= my perfect scenario. Extra special shoutout to my lovely best girl Lauren who hosted me in Cali + was my own personal chauffeur + tour guide. She is the sweetest, most lovely, kind friend [plus, take a look at how stunning she is!]!

A California trip would not be complete with a sailing adventure! We did just that + I even got to see my brother [who is on an amazing 80 day asian adventure right now, GO B!]. I was slightly, terrified, but equally loved the salt water breeze on the sailboat. If you have never been, put sailing on your bucket list now!

I hope you enjoyed a little window into my spring adventure in sunny-land!
