January of this year I completed the WHOLE 30 Paleo challenge. For those of you who have not heard of it, it is life changing, + you can find out more about it here. After the whole 30, I decided to keep the paleo diet going + have continued this diet the last 2 months! After the whole 30, you are technically allowed to have some treats on occasion [paleo of course]. So naturally, I went on Pinterest + I discovered this amazing recipe. I made it one night for a girls movie night + it has been a hit among friends!
This Christmas, my mom + I decided to do our traditional Christmas morning breakfast… something SWEET! This year we came up with making traditional french toast from scratch. After all, who doesn’t love a few extra sweet carbs to round out 2014?
It’s a holly jolly Christmas time of year! And with that being said, there is no better time to make Holiday cookies than this season. I love chocolate + I LOVE peppermint… so why not combine them to be extra festive this season? I recently hosted a Christmas party at my apartment + made these yummy treats…. + they were quite the hit! I promise, your guests will not be disappointed.
So while I was in California the other week, I actually got obsessed with something called the quinoa breakfast bowl, aka, the healthy, dreamy, delicious way to eat quinoa for brekkie.
It is super easy and hardly requires cooking, minus the quinoa!
