In the light of EASTER weekend I have actually had quite a bit to reflect on. Do you ever think about what it would be like for everyone to be against you? I mean seriously. Imagine that people didn’t believe who you said you were. Imagine they called you a liar. Imagine your closest friends and confidents betrayed you. Imagine being put to trial and being found guilty for false claims. Imagine being beaten and spit at and mocked.
Hey friends, did you miss me? Cuz I AM BACKKKK! Thank you for your patience as I have been nose deep in starting all things in PODCAST land regarding the Heart of Dating . Funny enough, starting this Podcast has encouraged me in so many ways to write this post today because it has showed me so much about how going after your dreams and just “getting errrr done” can in ways be better than any perfected, “take me 5 years to launch” kind of dream.
Shame can come in many different shapes and sizes. It can be something you are aware of. Something that feels like a giant SHAME sticker on your forehead. It can also be something you are not really aware of, because of years of bottling it up. In any case, it is common for us to succumb to shame based thinking in the midst of sin… but it can be SO incredibly detrimental to our health and overall self love.
Howdy friends! Wow. I cannot believe I just said howdy, but HEY, maybe I am just acting awkward because I am a TOUCH nervous to share today’s post with you. In keeping with the theme of this month, I want to get reaaaaaaallll vulnerable with you today as I encourage you that YOU and your messy story are incredible, and are worthy of sharing.
