I am GLAD in plaid! Yes indeedy I am. I am so sooooo very glad. I am thankful, joyful, excited, giddy…just all the good feels! Why am I this glad do you ask? Well, there are many reasons. The first reason being that I am one week into feeling chronically sick + I am FINALLY seeing the light of conquering this sort-of-kind-of-run-down-cold-sorta thingy. It is just that time of year it seems everyone around me is sick. Hallelujah for healing from sickness!
Why else am I overly glad do you ask? Well, that would be because Kat and I just had a meeting with our financial advisor, also known as my amazingly smart + crazy talented brother. The outcome of the meeting: EXCEPTIONAL! In just 3 and a half months Kat + I have built a business that is now meeting our next 3 month financial goal with the potential to meet our yearly goal if we continue on this trajectory. For all you entrepreneurs out there.. you understand that THIS. IS. AMAZING! We could not be more ecstatic to be blessed with such amazing opportunity in just a few months of business.
KaitKat has been quite the journey so far with many learnings along the way. We have learned so much + have been challenged daily all the while enjoying every second. But to whom do I owe this amazing traction in our business? Do I praise myself for just being all sorts of crazy talented? Heck no I do not! This success is so amazing + it would be easy to get caught in a landslide of just how amazing I am, but instead I choose to focus my praise on the one who gifted me with these talents + engraved these dreams on my heart. Thank you Lord for blessing KaitKat in just 3 + a half months.. thank you thank you thank you, I give you all the praise for this in all my gladness!!!
In speaking about all of this I love reflecting on the verse below in Psalms:
This is the day the LORD has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it. [Psalm 118:24]
YES! He makes every day possible, He lifts me up when the challenges arise + seem too daunting to conquer. He calms my nerves when I get overly anxious about all that lies ahead [even just all there is to do in ONE day!]. He provides me with a resting place… a place to call home + be with Him. He provides me with goodness + fills me with gladness. What do I do in return? I rejoice in it ALL!
Where are you right now? Are you rejoicing + taking hold of gladness even when you are more overwhelmed than you could ever imagine? Each + every day brings something new. There may be challenges, but there also may be so many great positive nuggets. Every day is different, but every day is still beautiful. Let’s rejoice + be glad about this journey we are on!
