It is a week where we celebrate our most loved ones + let them know how much we truly value and appreciate them. With that, I encourage you on this Valentine’s day to love on not only your significant other, but also on your family, your friends, your coworkers. Show them that they are VALUED and important to you.
Furthermore, you do not just have to wear red for Valentine’s day. A little sparkly dress mixed with red accents like in this entire look is perfectly festive for Valentine’s. Also, please do yourself a favor + celebrate GALentines, whether or not you really do have a Valentine. Take the girls out + LOVE on one another. Be uber girly + mushy + sweet…WEAR SEQUINS… because you have an excuse to, and really because why in the world not? This year I am rounding up all my closest LA girls to my favorite restaurant [Zinc Cafe] + having a white elephant gift exchange. KEY: the gift has to be ultra girly. Show your friends + your family that you are so thankful for them in your life. This holiday is not just about finding the love of your life… it is about the true meaning of love.
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres…. 13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, 13
